Nightlife
Throughout the whole world Paris stands for a wild and licentious
nightlife. The city is still an eldorado for pleasure seekers en night
owls, even if the exuberance of the early days has somewhat diminished
and some attractions have become tawdry tourist traps. Nevertheless,
Paris remains a fascinating place, whether you prefer a stroll along the
wide boulevards, or wish to plunge into the amazing array of cultural
activities at theatres, operas, concert halls and cinemas, whether you
listen to live music in smoky cellars, sip champagne while watching the
glittering shows and cabarets or dance to fiery rhythms in giant
discotheques.
