Key Telephone Numbers

Making phone calls:

The international access number for France is 00 33, after that you immediately dial the phone number without the zero.  From France to Belgium you dial 00 32, to The Netherlands 00 31.  You can make phone calls in the post office and in phone booths.  There are hardly any coin phones, nowadays you’ll find card phones almost everywhere.  The cards (télécarte) can be obtained in the post office or newspaper kiosks (min. € 7,8).
