The
Comédie Française is one of the most famous theatres in Europe. It goes
all the way back to the time of Molière. The poet died here while he was
starring in one of his own plays: ‘Le Malade imaginaire’. The building
at the Royal Palace stems from 1790. The current repertoire of the
theatre includes classical French plays, as well as modern stage.
